At Future IQ we want our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchase.
We therefore recommend you read our Warranty & Returns Policy prior to you making a purchase from Future IQ Online store, so you are familiar with our policy on refunds, returns and repairs and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
We also recommend you immediately inspect any goods that we deliver to you to ensure you are completely satisfied with the goods, including that the goods are of acceptable quality, and match the description we have provided to you.

Future IQ warrants that any product sold by Future IQ website or any other means will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from your invoice/receipt date. If any defects in materials or workmanship in an item we have sold are identified and you have notified us within this warranty period then we will, at our option, either repair or replace the product, or refund your money and take back the product. Future IQ does not accept any liability beyond this, and does not accept any liability for consequential loss. Our liability under this warranty is subject to Future IQ being satisfied that a defect was caused by defective workmanship or materials, and was not caused by or substantially contributed to by other factors, or circumstances beyond our control, including (but not limited to), repair, accidental or malicious damage, or any neglect, misuse or excessive use. Please note that all warranty claims and returns must be accompanied by a valid invoice/receipt. The Buyer will be credited for shipping charges on all returned shipments.
The warranty is void if the item through our diagnostic has been found to be taken apart, misused, used in a way that it was not designed for or installed by non-qualified electrician. You must provide a Certificate of Compliance from the Licenced Electrician specifying the very installation to be able to claim warranty for devices that are placed behind the wall and products that require a Licenced Electrician to complete the installation.
Future IQ is not responsible for any costs incurred by you to return the products back to us including but not limited to postage, time, effort as well costs for electricians or professional trades person to remove and reinstall the product(s).
General accessories like cables, plugs, power supplies are considered as consumables so not covered by warranty unless it’s dead on arrival. No items will be accepted without Authorisation from one of our Future IQ staff members or if applicable by a valid return authorisation number.
This is the Refund, Repair and Return Policy of Future IQ, and applies where you make a purchase online from www.futureiq.com.au or directly from our sales channel.
Please choose carefully as refunds are not normally provided where you have simply changed your mind, made a wrong selection or simply found the goods cheaper elsewhere. We recommend you carefully preview any orders before adding them to your shopping cart and proceeding with your order.

If any goods arrive damaged, please contact our Customer Service Team as soon as possible. Future IQ will arrange to have the damaged goods returned to Future IQ and either arrange for a replacement of the goods or refund the price to you. Damaged goods must be returned in the condition received by you with all original packaging, accessories and/or manuals.
Refunds will be processed by Future IQ and will normally be processed within 2 weeks.
Where Future IQ considers the goods to have breached a consumer guarantee, any shipping costs to return the goods to Future IQ will be at Future IQ’s cost.
You may return goods we have delivered to you by mail by contacting our Customer Service Team. Future IQ staff member will assist you with any return or repair. This may include inspecting the goods, arranging for the goods to be sent for repair, or providing you with a replacement.
Goods must be returned within a reasonable time. This timeframe may vary from product to product and may depend on the type of product you purchased and the price you paid.
Goods returned for repair will be assessed and/or repaired within a reasonable time. You may be provided with an indicative repair time, which time may vary due to reasons beyond ours or the repairer’s reasonable control, such as part availability and incorrect fault description.
You may be required to pay labour, assessment and/or freight fees, such as where goods are assessed to have been damaged by misuse or accident, or where your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any manufacturer’s warranty do not apply. We may provide you with an indicative fee, which fee may vary due to reasons beyond our control.
If any goods that you return are capable of retaining user generated data such as files stored on a hard drive, the replacement or repair of the goods may result in loss of the data. In these circumstances, we recommend you back up data to prevent data loss, and remove sensitive or confidential data, as a party assessing and/or repairing your goods may be required to view data in the course of carrying out the assessment. We will not be responsible for any data loss.
In some circumstances, goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.
While advancements in home automation make it easier and accessible to everyone please make sure you have done your research on product compatibility by either going through our support section, contacting us or done your own testing before purchasing any items. We will try and assist as much as possible but ultimately, we cannot be responsible for product incompatibility given the vast number of devices/products out there and your unique setups. If you do encounter compatibility issues and wish to return the product, you will be responsible to send the items back to us at your cost. We have the right to charge for the return postage cost for the replacement item and a 20% restocking fee.

All goods sold in Australia come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Consumer guarantees cannot be excluded and are in addition to any extended warranty you purchase or any voluntary warranty (warranty against defects) you are given.
There may be circumstances where you are not entitled to a remedy.
